Brand Name: Teveten

When used in pregnancy after the third month, Eprosartan can cause injury and even death to the developing fetus. Contact your health care provider as soon as possible if you suspect that you are pregnant.

Eprosartan is used for:

Treating high blood pressure when used alone or in combination with other medicines. It may also be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor.

Eprosartan is an angiotensin 2 receptor blocker. It works by decreasing certain chemicals in the body which cause blood vessels to constrict (narrow), and sodium and fluid to be stored by the kidneys.

  • you are in the second or third trimester of pregnancy

Contact your doctor or health care provider right away if any of these apply to you.

Ask your health care provider any questions you may have about how to use Eprosartan .
